Rawa Ladoo


Recipe Type: Indian                                                Yield: 27 ladoos
Preparation Time: 5 + 20 mins                                       Cooking Time:  20 mins

Ingredients:
2 cups of semolina (suji/ rawa)
11/2 cups of sugar
1/4 cup of chopped cashew nuts
20 raisins
1/2 cup of ghee or clarified butter
1/2 cup of warm milk
1 tsp of cardamom powder

Method:
1. Heat a nonstick pan. Add 1 tsp of ghee, raisins and cashew nuts. Fry it for 2 mins.
2. Now add remaining ghee and rawa. Fry for 15 mins on a low flame.

3. Now add sugar, cardamom powder. Mix well.
4. Pour milk and keep stirring it.
5. Switch off the gas. Let it cool down.
6. Prepare small round ladoos. If mixture dries off, add little milk.
