Ponsa (Jackfruit) Appo


Recipe Type: Indian                                                      Yield: 6
Preparation Time: 20 mins                                           Cooking Time: 20 mins

Ingredients:
2 cups of chopped jackfruit
1/2 cup of grated coconut
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of cardamom powder
1/2 cup of rice flour
2 tsp of jaggery

Method:




1. Grind chopped jackfruit and grated coconut (don't add water). Make a fine paste.



2. In a bowl add ground jackfruit and coconut paste. Add salt, cardamom powder and jaggery powder  into the bowl. (For more sweetness add little more jaggery.) Mix well.

 

3. Now add rice flour and mix well. Batter is ready.

 

4. In a Muffin pan (appo pan) pour the batter. Cook on both sides.
