Ingredients:
15 small pieces of pumpkin
4 Byadagi chillies
3 cups of water
1 tsp of salt
3/4 cup of grated coconut
1/4 tsp tamarind paste
15 sichuan peppercorns (teppal)
Method:
1. Soak sichuan peppercorns in a bowl of water for 15 mins.
2. Now grind soaked sichuan peppercorns. Sieve the water. Keep aside.
3. Grind Byadagi chillies, grated coconut, little tamarind paste and with some water. Make a fine paste.
4. Heat a sauce pan. Add 3 cups of water.
5. Put pumpkin pieces and salt. cook for 10 mins.
6. Now add ground masala. Mix well. Cook for 5 mins.
7. Pour sieved sichuan peppercorns water. Mix well. Bring to boil. Switch off the gas.
