Mix. Vegetable Sukke (Sabji)


Recipe Type: Indian                                                       Yield : 4
Preparation Time: 15 mins                                            Cooking Time: 20 mins

Ingredients: 
3/4 cup of grated coconut
4 byadagi chilies
1/4 tsp of tamarind paste
2 cups of water
1 chayote (semebadane)
1 bell pepper
5 cauliflower florets (optional)
1 potato
5 beans
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black lentil (urad dal)
2 tsp coriander seeds
3 tsp oil
5 curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds

Method: 
1. Heat a sauce pan. Pour 1 tsp of oil. Add coriander seeds and urad dal. Fry till black lentil (urad dal) becomes golden brown color.


2. For masala, coarsely grind  Byadagi chilies, tamarind paste, grated coconut, fried coriander and urad dal along with some water.


3. Heat a sauce pan. Pour oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves for tempering.


4. Now add ground masala, water and salt. Cook for 2 mins.


5. Add all chopped veggies. Cook for 15 to 20 mins.
