Apple-raspberries Sheera




Recipe Type : Indian                                                             Yield : 35 mins
Preparation Time : 5 mins                                                    Cooking Time : 40 mins


Ingredients :
3/4 cup semolina
1 and 3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup clarified butter
2 tbsp dry fruits (cashew nuts, raisins)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
3/4 cup sugar
10 raspberries
3/4 cup chopped apple
pinch of nutmeg powder


Method :
1. In a pan, add little clarified butter and switch on heat. Put dry fruits. Fry for few minutes. Keep aside.
2. In a pan put semolina and fry it on a low flame for few minutes. Keep aside.
3. In a sauce pan, pour milk, switch on heat, and bring it to boil.
4. In a pan add remaining clarified butter, chopped apple, and raspberries. Cook for 9 mins.




5. Now to the apple cooking pan add semolina, and fried dry fruits. Mix well.

                                   

6. Pour boiled milk and mix well. Cook well.



7. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder.
8. Cook for few more minutes.
9. Apply clarified butter on a pan.
10. Put cooked sheera on pan. Spread it.


11. Allow to cool for few minutes. Cut into required shapes.
