Veggie Pizza




Recipe Type : Italian                                                                    Yield : 8 slices
Preparation Time : 2 hours                                                         Cooking Time : 25 mins

Ingredients :
For pizza crust recipe:
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup wheat flour
1 tsp sugar
1/4 salt
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp warm water
1 tsp dry yeast

Toppings
1 bell pepper
onion
2 olives
5 broccoli florets
4 cauliflower florets
eggplant
3 artichoke
2 mushrooms
Mozzarella cheese
2 tsp olive oil

Pizza sauce:
3 tomatoes
1/2 cup water
salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp thyme leaves
pinch of oregano leaves
2 garlic
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp chilly powder

Method :
Pizza crust:
1. In a bowl pour warm water. Put dry yeast and sugar. Mix well. Keep it aside for 7 mins.


2. Now add wheat flour, salt and all-purpose flour. Knead well. Cover with wet cloth and keep it aside  for 1 hour.


3. Once again knead the dough. Cover with wet cloth and keep it aside for 40 mins.

4. Pizza sauce :
i. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add chopped tomatoes and chopped garlic. Pour water and allow to cook.
ii. Now add salt, sugar, chilly powder, thyme leaves and oregano leaves.
iii. Prepare thick sauce.

5. Apply oil on top of rolling pin.
6. Roll out pizza dough into thin required shape.

                                       

7. Apply pizza sauce on the rolled out dough.


8. Place all toppings and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.




9. Preheat the oven for 425 degree F.




10. Bake for 20 mins or till it reaches required crispness.


11. You may spray olive oil on top.
