Masala Dosa using fluffed rice







Recipe Type : Indian                      Fermentation Time: 6 hrs          Yield : 14 nos.
Preparation Time: 10 mins            Soaking Time : 4hrs                   Cooking Time : 4 mins 

Ingredients : 
1 and half cup white rice
1/4 cup fluffed rice
2 tbsp black lentils
1/4 cup split Bengal gram
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp oil / butter

Method:
1. Soak white rice, black lentils and split Bengal gram in water for 4 hours.
2. Soak fluffed rice for 5 mins in a separate bowl.
3. In a blender jar add soaked white rice, water and split Bengal gram. Grind to make a fine paste.
4. Now add soaked fluffed rice and grind again.
5. Put salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.
6. Ferment for 6 hrs.
7. Heat a griddle. Apply little oil.
8. Pour one ladle of batter and spread inside-out in a spiral pattern. Allow to cook. You may cook it on both sides.



9. Serve with chutney, potato sabji or sambar.
