Microwave Mysore pak


Recipe Type: Indian                                                        Yield : 8 pieces 
Preparation time : 5 mins                                               Cooking time: 3 mins


Ingredients:
1/2 cup chickpea flour (besan)
1 cup icing sugar or powder sugar
2 tsp milk
1/2 cup melted clarified butter (ghee)



Method:
1. Grease the pan and keep it ready.


2. Sieve chickpea flour. Put it in microwave safe bowl. And add 1 tbsp of clarified butter.


3. Now mix well. Roast for 1 min.


4. From this roasted chickpea flour, remove all clumps using spoon.


5. Sieve the icing sugar and keep aside.


6. Pour boiled and cooled milk, and add icing sugar. Pour remaining clarified butter. Mix well. Remove all clumps.




7. Put it in microwave for one minute.


8. Remove from microwave and mix well again.


9. Cook in microwave for 30 sec. Remove from microwave and mix well. Again put it in microwave for 30 more seconds.


10. Put the batter in greased pan. Spread it on the pan and press it using spoon to make it dense.


11. Allow to cool it for 10 to 15 mins. Cut it in rectangular shapes.


Note: 1. Depending on your microwave. Cook for two and half to 3 mins.
2. After each step, mix well to remove all clumps in order to prepare soft batter.
