Ingredients:
4 Byadagi chilies
3/4 cup grated coconut
1 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp oil
3 cups water
15 small pieces of ash gourd
1/2 tsp of tamarind pulp
For Gravy: Grind grated coconut, Byadagi chilies, tamarind paste, 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds and little water. Make a fine paste.
Method:
1. Heat a sauce pan. Add oil. Mustard seeds and curry leaves for tempering.
2. Now add ground masala, 3 cups of water and salt.
3. Put the ash gourd pieces. Cook for 20 mins.
