Ingredients:
1 cup of basamati rice
1 cup of sugar
10 cashew nuts
10 raisins
1/4 cup of clarified butter or ghee
8 saffron strands
1/2 tsp of cardamom powder
2 1/4 cups of water
Method:
1. Heat a sauce pan. Pour 2 cups of water and put basmati rice. Cook for 15 to 20 mins.
2. Now heat a nonstick pan. Add ghee. Put raisins and cashew nuts. Fry for 1 mins.
3. Put cooked basmati rice and little water. Mix well.
4. Add saffron strands and sugar. Mix well.
5. Finally add cardamom powder. Mix well.
