Preparation Time : 10 mins Fermentation Time : 5 hrs Cooking Time : 3 mins each
Ingredients:
3/4 cup black lentils (urad dal)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 and half cup water (as required)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
1. Soak black lentils for 4 hours.
2. Grind to make fine paste. While grinding add water.
3. Ferment the batter for 5 hours.
4. Now add all-purpose flour and mix well.
5. Add salt and mix well. Prepare a thick batter (if required add water).
6. Heat a pancake-pan (tawa).
7. Add little oil. Pour one ladle of batter to make dosa. Cook dosa on both sides.
8. Serve with chutney or sambar.
