Cauliflower Thepla/ Cauliflower Indian Bread/Roti




Recipe Type: Indian                                                                    Yield: 7 nos.
Preparation Time : 10 mins                                                        Cooking Time : 4 mins

Ingredients:
1 cup grated cauliflower
1 cup wheat flour
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 tsp finely chopped green chilly
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter

Method:
1. In a bowl add grated cauliflower, salt, chopped green chilly, chopped ginger, turmeric powder, asafoetida, coriander leaves. Keep it aside for 3 mins.



2. Add wheat flour. Prepare dough mixture. Don't add water as cauliflower leaves water.


3. Once dough is ready, apply oil on top of the dough.


4. Prepare medium sized dough balls.


5. Apply oil or dust with wheat flour on top of the rolling pin, so that dough doesn't stick to rolling pin.
6. Use the rolling pin to flatten each dough ball into round shapes.


7. Heat a flat-pan. Apply butter and place the roti. Fry it on the pan.



8. Cook on both sides.


9. Serve hot cauliflower Thepla with curd, chundo or chutney.
