Aloo Ki Roti/ Potato Indian Bread




Recipe Type : Indian                                                                   Yield : 11 nos
Preparation Time : 15 mins                                                        Cooking Time : 4 mins


Ingredients:
3/4 cup wheat flour
1 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
1 tsp salt
1 finely chopped green chilly
1 finely chopped onion
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
3 cooked potatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp crushed black pepper
3 tsp oil
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp asafoetida

Method:
1. In a bowl add grated potatoes, salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, asafoetida, chopped green chilly, chopped onion, chopped ginger, crushed black pepper, chopped coriander leaves, wheat flour and all-purpose flour. Mix well to form a dough. Don't add water.

                                   

 2. Once dough is ready, apply oil on top of the dough.


3. Prepare medium sized dough balls.


4. Apply oil on top of the rolling pin, so that dough doesn't stick to rolling pin.
5. Use the rolling pin to flatten each dough ball into round shapes.


6. Heat a flat-pan. Apply butter and place the roti. Fry it on the pan.



7. Cook on both sides.
8. Serve hot aloo ki roti with curd or chutney.
