Preparation Time: 10 mins Cooking Time: 35 mins
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of roasted vermicelli
2/3 cups of sugar
1/2 tsp of cardamom powder
1 tbsp of pieces of cashew nuts
10 raisins
1 cup of grated carrot
3 cup of milk
1 cup of water
2 tbsp of clarified butter (ghee)
Method:
2. Now add roasted vermicelli and fry for 2 mins.
3. At the same time heat milk and 1 cup of water in a sauce pan for 10 mins.
4. Now pour the hot milk & water mixture into vermicelli cooking nonstick pan.
5. Allow the vermicelli to cook. It takes about 7 mins.
6. Sprinkle grated carrot. Cook for additional 10 mins.
7. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well. Cook for another 5 mins.
8. Serve hot or cold.
