Pav / Laadi pav / bun / bread



Recipe Type : Indian              Dough resting period : 2 hrs             Yield : 9 pav
Preparation Time : 30 mins                                                                Baking Time : 35 mins

Ingredients :
3/4 + 1 and half tbsp milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast

Method :
1. In a bowl pour warm water, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well. Keep aside for 10 mins.


2. Put all-purpose flour. Knead the dough for 20 mins.


3. Keep this dough covered with wet cloth for an hour.


4. As it rises, add 1 tbsp butter. Knead dough for 3 mins.


5. Make a small round shaped dough balls.


6. Grease the pan with butter and dust it with flour. Remove extra flour.



7. Arrange this dough in a pan. Keep it covered with wet cloth for another hour.


8. Preheat oven to 350º F.
9. Apply milk on top. It gives nice golden color.



10. Bake for 35 mins.




11. Once fully baked, apply butter on top for a nice shine. Enjoy with pav-bhaji or any other side dish.
